We have officially had our first wedding of 2023! After a little winter break, Amanda + Jared were the first to say “I Do” here at Oakhaven this year. Here is a peek inside their beautiful February wedding day:

Wedding items and details on the left include cowboy boots, a bouquet, and invitations. On the right, a couple embraces in front of a horse-drawn carriage outside a white building.

Amanda and Jared opted to have an indoor ceremony in our Grand Dutch Barn, the perfect place for a winter month wedding. The fireplace helped warm guests from the cold outdoors while the love between the new Mr. and Mrs. Goodman truly warmed everyone’s hearts. Because of allergies, Amanda chose to do all of her florals herself, using wooden flowers! The cream, blue and green florals were absolutely beautiful and a great alternative for the bride looking for classy but budget friendly ideas.

While the couple did not have a “theme” for their wedding, one thing that was consistently present on their wedding day was the presence of their love for travel. From the table names, to the vintage suitcase for cards, to the surprise video Jared made for Amanda featuring clips from all the places they had traveled, you knew that these two were up for any adventure!

Rustic wedding decor with wooden cake toppers and a vintage suitcase card box, adorned with flowers and greenery.

There is no greater honor than to be a part of a new adventure and we are so grateful to be a part of Amanda and Jared’s.
