About the Property
Experience Oakhaven is a 1400-acre estate and working farm in the rolling hills of the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Oakhaven was made for wedding weekends with its guest homes, outdoor kitchen and firepit, and a host of amenities and services.
Oakhaven is conveniently located off Route 29 near Pelham, NC and a short drive from Greensboro, NC and Danville, VA.
Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro, NC is the closest major airport. In addition to Danville and Greensboro, Oakhaven is near Reidsville, Eden, and Burlington, NC. Chapel Hill and Durham are about an hour away.
Oakhaven’s Grand Reception Barn can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests for a wedding reception.
Yes. In addition to the Grand Dutch Barn, Oakhaven has three outdoor wedding ceremony options. Exchange vows under the Signature Oak, on the venue Terrace, or in the English Manor gardens.
Typically, couples choose an outdoor location for their ceremony. Guests then experience cocktail hour on the venue terrace, followed by an indoor reception.

The Grand Reception Barn and Terrace provide an open, flexible floor plan. Feel free to provide your own decor or add a raid of Oakhaven’s Decor Closet to your wedding package.
Yes, provided they carry the proper license/insurance. Oakhaven also offers an all-inclusive wedding experience with its preferred vendors.
You are free to choose your own or work with someone on Oakhaven’s preferred vendor list. All catering must come from a licensed commercial kitchen.
Couples must obtain a one-day beverage license and provide their own alcohol. Oakhaven requires that you use a licensed bartending service.
Yes. Oakhaven can set you up with The Wedding Day Lady, our preferred coordinator. Or you can bring in another professional Day of Coordinator.
Private dressing areas are available for the wedding party.
Our venue is easily accessible for all guests. And our package includes valet parking and a golf cart shuttle service.
Absolutely! We have an air-conditioned kennel as well as stables.
Booking Your Oakhaven Wedding
Use the website contact form and you’ll receive a prompt confirmation from our Sales Department. If your date is not available, let’s take a look at some other options that may fit your vision.
We provide both in-person as well as virtual tours (great for out couples planning from out of the area).
Oakhaven’s wedding manager will provide you with an agreement to sign. A deposit is required at time of signing. You’ll have clear details on all aspects of your wedding rental, a payment schedule, and our cancellation policy.
